Objective

The broad objective of the PARC project is to devleop scalable algorithms and software for sensor data analysis and model updating to support on-line failure diagnosis and compensation for fault-tolerant operation of sensor-rich control systems, leveraging recent trends in MEMS sensors and networking.

We will focus on (1) hybrid mode estimation using a combination of signal estimation and model-based reasoning, and (2) distributed qualitative diagnosis.
