Perceptual Documents Area - Goal is to develop unobtrusive applications that conveniently enable people to select, assemble, modify, and share material in documents in terms of perceptually and semantically salient chunks. There is a special emphasis on the support of informal (RUF) knowledge creation and sharing practices by computationally enabling handwritten marks on paper and other physical surfaces.
